Hey guys, I'm back! If you haven't noticed by now (which I would really, really hope you did), my blog has a totally new look! I've been stalling on my homework and playing around in the design settings on my blog, and I decided to completely change the look. What do you think? I kind of like the abstract paint-splotch background. :) Also, referring back to my post on DIY projects where I promised you guys a picture of my first "real" DIY... you'll still get it, but lets just say I'm not the greatest at painting an exactly even, symmetrical, centered rectangle, even with measured pencil lines. So it's not exactly the Mona Lisa of DIY wall decor projects, but... well, you'll see later when I finish my homework (ha!) and decide to upload the picture. ^_^
Also (what did I tell you; I can't just limit myself to one topic when I'm blogging!), about writing. Yesterday I literally got the most genius idea ever for a new story, and then this morning in church I literally got an even more most genius idea ever!! It is CRAY to the Z! I mean, what's a girl to do?! If I just try to push them aside, they'll keep bobbing back like an inflated beach ball when you try to push it underwater in the pool. If I scribble down the ideas as they come to me on my computer like I've been doing, I'm bound to go off on a tangent for an hour on this new plot and completely forget about my novel that's still a WIP, and if I have multiple works-in-progress that CAN'T end up well at all! I think my best choice is probably to write down any plot revelations or character backstories that spring to mind, then once I've deflated that beach ball I can make it stay underwater until I'm ready for it again. Do you guys have any better ideas? Because if not, I'm going to go with it and hope for the best! ;) Wish me luck, mis amigos(as)!
